Course Payment Policy

 •  To ensure your place in a scheduled course, payments must be made at time of registration. We accept the following forms of payment: Cash, personal/business check, Master Card, Discover, Visa and Amex. Note: Credit/debit receipts will read: MWV Children's Museum or Believe in Books.
Class Registration Form

•  A minimum of six (6) students is required to run a class as scheduled.

•  Refunds or credits will NOT be given to a course participant who cancels within 2 days/48 hours of the starting date (weekend days not included.)

•  Should a class be cancelled by chapter staff due to low enrollment, or inclement weather, participants will either receive a full refund or be enrolled in an upcoming class at no extra cost. Please listen to 93.5 WMWV for all cancellations or contact the chapter directly.

Course Information

There is no age limit to become Red Cross certified, although each course participant must be able to perform all skills needed in order to become certified.

•  Adult/Child/Infant CPR/AED certification :
This certification is valid for one (1) year.

•  First Aid certification :
This certification is valid for three (3) years.

•  Babysitter's Training :
Participants must be 11 years at time of class. (This certification does not expire.)

•  Recertification's :
A recertification course is both a skills test and written exam. We do allow one (1) full month after card expiration date to obtain recertification. Otherwise, full recertification is required. Current card must be presented to instructor.

•  Instructor Training :
Must be sixteen (16) years old. (Seventeen (17) for Lifesaving Instructor course)
